In between Salt Lake City & Park City, Utah, Little Dell Reservoir is a hidden gem. A giant water reservoir overlooked by Emigration Canyon, Little Dell Reservoir is a hotspot for winter activities such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing, and snowmobiling - wedding engagement sessions not so much. Unless your photographer brings snowshoes!
With the record snow fall Utah has received this year, many places around Little Dell are simply too deep to walk in. To get those beautiful views while still being able to walk around, Jayme, Kylie and I snowshoed down the main ramp at Little Dell close to the frozen water. Once we found an opening showing off all of the beauty of Emigration Canyon, we set our stuff down and started to pack down the snow. What came after was a beautiful sunset wedding engagement session on the snow. I mean look at these views! The best part was that we had it all to ourselves! We all had a great time taking pictures in the snow. I actually have the honor of doing their elopement this Fall and cannot wait! Find you a wedding photographer who will bring snowshoes to get the shot! :)
