Two Brides Zion National Park Gatsby Wedding at Zion Red Rock Villa
Zion Red Rock Villa - Rockville, Utah - Zion National Park
It was a beautiful day in Rockville, Utah, just outside of Zion National Park. Despite rainy weather predictions, the sky was filled with white, pillowy clouds occasionally casting shade on the Southern Utah red rock. A&D chose to have their wedding at Zion Red Rock Villa, which is an awesome venue for wedding and elopement photography. This huge mansion has multiple bedrooms, a pool, lakes, and beautiful landscaping, all surrounded by the red rock scenery that Zion Park is famous for.
A&D housed most of their wedding guests at Zion Red Rock Villa, ensuring everyone had a great time together, whether adventuring in the national park or enjoying Red Rock Villa’s stunning scenery. It was really cool that most of the guests were able to stay on site- I think this is a unique perk of this particular wedding venue.
A&D’s wedding details featured white gloves, a cowboy hat, a painting of Red Rock Villa (done by one of the brides), and a 2006 bottle of Dom Perignon rosé—specifically the Lady Gaga edition. I knew right away that this was going to be a fun wedding to photograph! It was that and more—I wished I was a wedding guest instead of a wedding photographer because their day so was so incredibly fun!
The ceremony was held in front of a lake with giant red rock mesas towering over both the aisle and altar. The brides arranged for their guests to take a shot of alcohol with them during the ceremony, resulting in some super fun wedding photos.
The rest of the day was filled with stimulating conversations, great wine, and uninhibited dancing. It was truly an elegant and classy Gatsby-esque affair!
For anyone looking for wedding or elopement photography opportunities in Southern Utah, especially near Zion National Park, Zion Red Rock Villa is an amazing choice. This venue offers so many possibilities for capturing beautiful wedding photos, from the red rock landscape to portrait style photos inside the villa.
